State Civil Aviation Administration to be liquidated

The State Civil Aviation Administration of Moldova will be liquidated on June 1. A new subdivision of the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure will take over its duties. The civil aviation of Moldova will be monitored by a new body - the Civil Aeronautic Authority. The personnel of the State Civil Aviation Administration will officially continue work as part of the new institution. At practical level yet, the mechanism for distributing the posts has not been yet agreed, the first deputy head of the State Civil Aviation Administration Eugen Dvornic has told Info-Prim Neo. The Civil Aeronautic Authority will have 90 employees, by about 30 more than the State Civil Aviation Administration. Moldova’s State Civil Aviation Administration has been managed by the Government.
