State budget revenues and expenditure go up

The total revenues of the state budget during the first ten months of 2019 exceeded 32 billion lei and are by 7.6% higher than in the corresponding period last year owing to the 8.3% rise in the general and collected revenues, IPN reports, quoting the Ministry of Finance.

The State Tax Service increased the collected amounts by 3.9% on the same period last year to over 14 billion lei. “For us, the entrepreneurs’ attitude to tax collection activities counts a lot. That’s why we aim to intensify the consultative mission of the Service so as to help the entrepreneurs to work according to the legal framework,” said Minister of Finance Sergey Pușcuța.

The Customs Service collected over 18 billion lei from the procedures managed by the customs, an increase of 6.6% on 2018. “Our task in the interaction of the Customs Service with economic operators and private individuals is to improve the public services,” stated the minister.

The state budget expenditure came to over 34.3 billion lei. Compared with the same period of 2018, this is by 15.3% higher. The execution of the state budget at the end of October ended with a deficit of over 2.2 billion lei.
