StarNet will sue the persons who damage its image. After a news conference held at IPN, Irina Ghelbur, spokesman for StarNet, has told the Agency it’s regrettable that the operators of broadcasting services make accusations against a company that has provided Internet services for over 10 years and serves almost 100,000 clients at national level.
The reaction comes after representatives of the Broadcasting Employers Association of Moldova accused StarNet of disloyal competition. “As regards the IPTV service, we must note that StarNet is the platform through which this service reaches users’ homes. The company’s partner – the firm TV BOX – provides the media content. We assure everyone that all the channels from the packages of StarNet are transmitted 100% legally and contracts have been signed for all of them,” said Irina Ghelbur.
She added that given that full transparency is wanted in this case, the company is ready to furnish the contracts so as to stop the wave of false accusations made against it. StarNet intends to sue the companies and private individuals who denigrated the company, affecting thus its activity.
