Starlets get applauded in contest

Finalists of the contest “Ploaia stelutelor” (Starlets Rain) got awards, diplomas and much applause, on May 28. The fifth edition of the festival was held in school-kindergarten 199. The contest has been attended by children aged 4 to 7. 25 of them got qualified for the municipal stage, by 5 from each city district. “We teach the children to have musical culture, to behave on the stage, to hold the microphone, to train their memory by learning songs and not to feel awkward. The child's personality develops namely in the kindergarten period,” Info-Prim Neo was told by Florica Rusu, the head of the pre-school management service. “All the participants have got diplomas, and later, when we can afford, the small artists will also get money prizes,” Florica Rusu said. Florica Rusu thanked the organizers and parents, who helped the little ones to make their costumes. The Chisinau budget spent 13,000 lei for this event.
