Stanislav Ivanov will play for FC Rostov

Moldovan footballer Stanislav Ivanov was transferred to FC Rostov of the Russian Premier League on an interim basis, Info-Prim Neo reports. The halfback will join his new colleagues, including his conational Alexandru Gatcan, at the training session in Turkey, the Russian team informs on its website. However, Nikolai Naumov, the president of Lokomotiv Moscow, which contracted Ivanov, did not confirm the information. The former Moldovan international is going through a not very favorable period. Owing to injuries, last year he played only 17 games for Lokomotiv and Krylia Sovetov Samara. From 2004 until 2008, the 29-year-old player had been one of the leading footballers of FC Moscow. Stanislav Ivanov holds Russian passport. During the last two years, he refused several times to play for Moldova's national squad.
