The stamp ‘withdrawn’ against the name of candidate Mihai Ghimpu was put by mistake on only one ballot, official responsible for communication of the Central Election Commission Rodica Sarbu has told IPN. The election observation mission of Promo-LEX earlier reported that the stamp ‘withdrawn’ was put incorrectly on a number of ballots at a polling place in Chisinau.
The CEC verified the information. Representatives of the Liberal Party confirmed that the stamp was put incorrectly on only one ballot. The mistake didn’t affect the election process, stated Rodica Sarbu.
