The president of Petrocub-Hancesti Mihai Usatyi threatens again to withdraw the team from the championship. A first step was taken last weekend, when Petrocub refused to play the match against Dacia till the end, IPN reports.

The footballers from Sarata Galbena left the field in the 57th minute of the game played in Speia, when they were led by 1-0. Petrocub-Hancesti managed to score through Vladimir Ambros, but the goal was annulled because of the offside rule. In several minutes, Mihai Usatyi approached the field and asked that his footballers should stop the game.

“Analyzing the most important parts of the match, the Committee of Arbitrators reached the conclusion that the referees took correct decisions,” said the Committee’s vice president Vladimir Antonov. Petrocub risks losing this match and will be fined by the Moldovan Footfall Federation.

The situation was also tense in Nisporeni, where Speranta lost an important game for the fourth place to Zaria 1-2. “The referee mocked Speranta. He often whistled when he shouldn’t have done it,” Speranta manager Petru Efros told a news conference.

The other matches of the 21st stage of the National Division ended as follows: Sheriff - Milsami 2-0, Zimbru - Dinamo-Auto 2-1, and Saxan - Academia 0-3.
