The works to lay out the square in memory of the victims of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster were completed. There will also be performed irrigation works so that the lawn and flowers are watered automatically, head of the Public Amenities Division Ion Burdiumov stated for IPN.
According to him, the tender contest to choose the company that will build the irrigation system was held today and the contractor was chosen.
The other works, to lay asphalt, to install the lighting system and urban furniture, were completed. The monument in memory of the victims of the disaster is being set up by a public association.
The square in memory of the victims of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster is situated near the Park “Valea Trandafirilor” in Botanica district of Chisinau. Everyone has access to it.
