Head of Parliament Igor Corman made an order allowing the MPs to go on leave. Under the order, the lawmakers will be able to rest between July 15 and August 16, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the legislative body’s press service, the MPs will return to work on August 17. Under the law on the status of MP and the Parliament’s regulations, the lawmakers are entitled to paid annual leave of 36 workdays, with six workdays a week.
The MPs can usually go on leave during the Christmas vacation and the summer vacation.
The spring-summer session starts in February and ends in July.
