Concerts all over the country and in the diaspora will be organized as part of the International Music Festival "Martisor". The 59th edition of the Festival will kick off today at the Nicolae Sulac National Palace. Artists from the Republic of Moldova and abroad will perform on stages in Chisinau and in 48 other communities across the country, IPN reports.
The festival concerts will take place throughout March. This year's theme is "Spring, come home!".
This is the second year that the program targets the whole Republic of Moldova as well as the diaspora.
"If we are talking about "March all over the world", we will have the "Eugene Ionesco" National Theater's tour with the show "Chirita in the provinces" in 7 European countries. We will have tours of artists," said Minister of Culture Sergiu Prodan.
