The Chisinau General Division of Education, Youth and Sport organizes a series of sports events on the Day of Chisinau this year as well, IPN reports.
The Open Cycling Cup of Chisinau municipality will take place on October 9-11. On October 10, there will be held the Autumn Sports Orientation Championship of Chisinau municipality, while on October 10-11 – the international dance sports contest “Chisinau Open – 2015”.
The Men’s Handful Cup will take place during four days, starting with October 10. The Open Horse Racing Cup of Chisinau municipality will be staged on October 14, while the Open Weightlifting Cup of Chisinau municipality – on October 15-18.
The Kayak-Canoeing Championship of Chisinau municipality will be held on October 16-18, the Open Kickboxing Championship of Chisinau municipality – on October 17-18, the Open Taekwondo WTF Championship – also on October 17 and 18, while the Open Draughts Championship – on October 22-28.
The municipal Open Baseball Cup, the Open Artistic Gymnastics Championship and the Open Swimming Championship will take place on October 23–25, the Open Table Tennis Championship – on October 24 and 25, while the Open Traditional Karate-Do Cup – on October 3.
