The Chisinau Public Health Center warns business entries to continue to supply food products of a high quality to kindergartens. It was established that spoiled fish was recently delivered to a kindergarten in Tohatin commune of Chisinau municipality, IPN reports.

The case was reported by the local public administration. The fish to the kindergarten was supplied on February 15. As the institution has a cold-storage room, the fish was unfrozen in two days and it then became evident that the product had a soft consistency. The kindergarten’s director informed the supplier and this delivered another consignment the same day. But the result was the same when the fish was unfrozen. The menu had to be modified and the children ate something else instead of fish.

Specialists of the Chisinau Public Health Center travelled to the scene and took samples for microbiological and parasitological examinations. The results are not yet known.
