Ranking last in the National Division, Speranta suffered one more blow. The team from Crihana Veche was fined 31,000 lei. If the fine is not paid, Speranta will be punished, IPN reports.

The money is to be transferred to footballer Vasile Caraus and represents his overdue salary. Speranta was also obliged by the Moldovan Football Federation to give the employment record book and all the necessary documents to Caraus so that he is able to sign contracts with other teams.

Speranta also owes money to the players Eugen Gorceac and Eugen Celeadnic. If it does not clear the arrears, it may be demoted. Currently, the team trained by Sergey Dubrovin comes last with eight points, with two points fewer than Academia.

On April 25, Speranta plays away against Dinamo-Auto in the 29th stage. In the other encounters, Sheriff meets Milsami, Dacia - Veris, Zimbru – Olimpia, while FC Tiraspol - FC Costuleni.
