The speech about reforms is insufficient as these reforms should also occur. The Republic of Moldova was on the verge of a blockage of its relations with the EU following the lack of progress in implementing the Association Agreement, chronic governmental instability and lack of governance, MEP Victor Bostinaru was quoted by IPN as saying in the program “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel.

According to him, Moldova now has a confused image or does not have that clarity that it had five-six years ago for the simple reason that the Republic of Moldova had governments, but didn’t have governance, except for the past two years. “This country wasn’t governed,” stated the politician. According to him, the Republic of Moldova saw too much division.

The MEP noted a visible progress in economic governance is now witnessed. The economic progress in Moldova has been the most optimistic one during the past few years. Also, significant progress was made in the field of the legislative and institutional framework of the economic policies. “There are yet reforms that wait in the business package, where the Government and Parliament also work,” he stated.

Victor Bostinaru said the Republic of Moldova is the state that fully adjusted its foreign, security and defense policy to the EU’s. Progress was made as regards the National Integrity Authority. The legislative framework exists and experts were recruited and these work and the broadened powers of the Authority started to be processed.

The MEP also said the EU made an honest invitation to the Moldovan political players to start building confidence between politicians as the time left is short. The adversities, rivalries extended to an extreme do no good.
