Specialized service will organize traffic in Chisinau

A special service will organize and fluidize the road traffic in Chisinau. The proposal to set up the service was submitted by deputy mayor Nistor Grozavu, who said that many European countries have specialized subdivisions at the Transport Division or Architecture and Urbanism Division that manage the traffic, Info-Prim Neo reports. Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca backed the proposal, saying this service should include specialists of the Public Transport and Communications Division. The service will weekly propose modifications to routes to ease and fluidize the traffic. Currently, only the traffic police are empowered to organize the road traffic in Chisinau.
