The special train running from Căușeni in southern Moldova to the Romanian border city of Iași, via Chisinau, has been suspended indefinitely, the Moldova Railways said in a press release.
The reason is that the Crisis Management Center has offered enough buses to shuttle Ukrainian refugees from the Palanca border crossing directly to Romania, via a shorter route.
When and if any other special trains will be arranged depends on the request of the Crisis Management Center, said the Railways.
