Special places for barbecue settled in parks of Chisinau

Special places for barbecue were settled in the parks of the capital, still even the persons responsible of the Green Spaces Management Association recognize that their number is not sufficient. The majority of them are located in the park „La Izvor” of the district Buiucani. Such special places are settled as well in Valea Trandafirilor, near the administrative building of the park, on the street Trandafirilor, on the alley where young trees are planted, in the „La Riscani” park, situated between the streets M. Sadoveanu and N. Dimo. Association’s employees installed tables, chares and trash bins, but did not ensure with firewood as before. Galina Leahu, deputy head of the Association motivates this fact by the fights about the firewood between the persons coming to rest. According to Galina Leahu, now the firewood and the coal are sold at the gas stations. Based on previous experience, Galena Leahu noted that after people rest there is a big amount of trash. Within a week, after Easter holidays, 200 waste transporting vehicles evacuated the trash off the green spaces, 60% of them of the parks from the capital, Galina Leahu mentioned, who asked the persons willing to rest in the parks to deposit the garbage in the trash bins. The responsible persons of the mentioned Association say that all the rest places were cleaned within a week, thus Chisinau inhabitants could rest properly. There are 10 forest parks, 6 parks and 4 public gardens in Chisinau.
