Parliament proposes the creation of a commission that will select candidates for the post of the children's rights advocate, as the term of the incumbent expires in April.
According to the draft decision, the commission will be composed of members of the Human Rights and Interethnic Relations Commission and the Legal Commission.
The special commission will have 60 days to select the candidates.
Maia Bănărescu began her seven-year term on April 8, 2016.
