The Plasticine sample taken for testing by specialists of the Public Health Center in a school of Burlaceni village of Cahul district after a number of students and two teachers got poisoned in the classroom where they modeled Plasticine showed this wasn’t toxic.
Contacted by IPN, Elena Jardan, laboratory chief at the National Public Health Center, said the tests didn’t confirm the toxicity of the Plasticine. The product contains gluten and, theoretically, could have caused allergy if it had been ingested, but none of those who were poisoned complained about this.
