About 20 teachers who do not have computers for ensuring distance learning will receive by a laptop with a licensed copy of Windows. The computers were provided by Soros Foundation Moldova, IPN reports.
The laptops will be handed over to the education institutions selected by the local education divisions and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research. The criteria for choosing the beneficiaries include the number of students to whom the teacher teaches classes and computer skills.
The Ministry of Education said the continuation of distance learning in the period is a priority and the provision of the teachers and students with the necessary equipment is fundamental.
The educational process was transposed to distance learning as of March 11.
