The branch in Soroca of the Chamber of Trade and Industry of Moldova and the Soroca District Council will stage the third Apple Festival on September 28. The event is aimed at promoting the national apple producers and at facilitating experience exchange and implementation of new technology, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the Soroca branch of the Chamber of Trade and Industry, the festival will include the exhibition and parade of apple producers, discussions centering on the methods of cultivating and keeping apples and a concert.
The Apple Festival will take place in the Liberty Square of Soroca town from 10am until 4pm.
