A man from Stoicani, Soroca, fall into a 10-meter-deep well this morning. Once retrieved from the narrow structure, the man was rushed to a hospital for hypothermia treatment, but otherwise he seemed unhurt.
According to the Emergencies Service, a 901 call was received at around 7:00am. In an operation complicated by narrow walls, the rescuers managed to get the man out in less than 20 minutes. Throughout this time, the man stood waist-deep in the cold water.
It was reported that the 40-year-old man was not in good health and was feeling sick when he fell.
