Soroca man caught with 1 kg of marijuana on him

The police arrested a fresh university graduate who had almost 1 kilogram of marijuana on him. The young man is from Soroca and came to Chisinau to visit his girlfriend. Adrian Jovmir, spokesman for the General Police Commissariat, has told Info-Prim Neo that the 22-year-old man is a drug user. The police established that he intended to sell the drugs, which were assessed at about 12,000 lei. He faces a fine of 12,000 to 18,000 lei or up to two years’ imprisonment over drug distribution.
