The police found the remnants of the body of a man aged 44 who went missing six years ago. The man’s son is suspected of murder, while his wife of helping hide the body. It happened in Chetrosul village of Drochia district, IPN reports.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, at the end of March 2008 the police in Drochia received a notification from a woman aged 40, who is now 46. She declared that her husband went missing. The man was listed as missing. In six years, employees of the National Investigations Inspectorate established that the man was killed.
The investigators said that on March 23, 2008, as a result of a conflict, the 19-year-old man, who is now 25, strangled his father in a moment of fury. Afterward, helped by his mother, he buried the body on the outskirts of the village.
The suspects are under arrest and are investigated for murder. The young man faces 10 to 20 years behind bars or life imprisonment.
