A part of the schools in the capital city will make up the lessons missed due to the extension of the autumn break on Saturdays, deputy head of the General Education, Youth and Sport Division Andrei Pavaloi was quoted by IPN as saying in the ordinary meeting of municipal services.
The official said that 147 institutions of the 150 manage to make up the classes at schools subjects for the additional vacation days until the end of the first semester. Of these, 43 schools will catch up on the missed classes on Saturdays.
The school principals are responsible for the organization of the catch-up activities. These will approve special timetables coordinated with the General Divisions and agreed with teachers, parents and students.
As to the supply of heat to education institutions, Andrei Pavaloi said all the kindergartens were connected to the centralized heating system. Last Friday, 83 of the 107 schools in Chisinau were supplied with heat. A part of the schools asked to be connected to the heating system in the morning of November 8.
