In Chisinau, a number of persons who scheduled appointments to get a vaccine against COVID-19 didn’t show up. In the ordinary meeting of officials of Chisinau services, mayor Ion Ceban asked to create a vaccination registration platform so that the vaccines are distributed to those who want to be immunized, IPN reports.
Deputy head of the Chisinau Health Division Boris Gîlca said the central authorities already designed a vaccination registration platform, but it is not known when this will be made available. The demand for vaccines in Chisinau remains the highest. As to the COVID-19 Register, the official said that of the 500 family doctors of the municipality, only 365 use the JIRA reporting platform. In the suburban settlements, the family doctors don’t use the platform.
The immunization of medical personnel in the municipality continues. The second immunization stage is underway. It covers the persons older than 60, those with comorbidies and those who face an increased risk of becoming infected. The teachers are also vaccinated.
