Particular categories of citizens of the Republic of Moldova who enter Romania are no longer obliged to quantize at home for 14 days. The Republic of Moldova was struck off the list of the states for which self-isolation is mandatory following a decision taken by the National Committee for Emergency Situations of Romania, IPN reports.

The exemption from quarantine is valid at least until the middle of next month. Details can be seen on the website of Moldova’s Embassy in Bucharest, the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania or of the Government of Romania.

Under the Romanian Government’s decision of October 14, 2020, the state of alert was extended on Romania’s territory as of October 16, 2020 for a period of 30 days, the ban on entering Romania through state border crossing points for foreigners, including Moldovan citizens and stateless persons, being maintained.
