The union with Romania, establishment of EU protectorate and annulment of collective responsibility are some of the solutions to the crisis faced by Moldova proposed by the invitees to the talk show “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel, IPN reports.

Constantin Codreanu, a member of the National Unity Bloc, considers only the union with Romania can still save Moldova. “Without a lustration law and without a throughout cleaning of the political class it is impossible to do something. Corruption became a dangerous phenomenon, while the state institutions can no longer cope,” he stated.

Chairman of the Centrist Union Party Mihai Petrache suggested instituting control from outside. “The foreign partners have spent enormous sums in Moldova. It would be opportune for these partners to establish protectorate on Moldova and, in the period, the country could do reforms to prevent the corruption of functionaries in the future,” he said.

Sergiu Coropceanu, secretary general of the Social Democratic Party, believes that each of the representatives of the administration should bear personal responsibility for their actions. “Each minister should answer apart, not the while Cabinet. The same is in Parliament – not the MP, but the faction votes. Each lawmaker should answer for their vote. There is also migration from one party to another. If somebody does not like the faction of which they form part, they migrate to another, but the responsibility continues to be borne by the party of which they formed part,” he stated.
