A number of compulsory-duty servicemen will celebrate the Easter at home, benefiting from leaves offered by the Ministry of Defence, reports Info-Prim Neo. According to the head of educational department of personnel administration of the General Headquarters, lieutenant colonel Eduard Stahi, about one third of the soldiers will have the possibility to celebrate Easter in their families. This is a chance offered to servicemen that proved discipline during their service. At the same time the compulsory servicemen are to participate in certain educational and Christian manifestations. On the night of Resurrection the military men will participate at the sacred service in churches situated next to the military camps. Each soldier will receive Easter eggs and cakes. According to the same source, another 30% of the soldiers will benefit from leaves on Memorial Easter (holiday to remember dead relatives and friends, occurring the next week after Easter).
