Sodium hypochlorite administration stations to be built in 2013

A number of sodium hypochlorite administration stations will be designed and set up this year at zonal pumping stations, starting with the pumping station “Telecentru”, and will be used in emergencies, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau”. Among the main objectives of the municipal water supplier for 2013 are to modernize the wastewater treatment station Sculeni in Chisinau, by implementing new technology and equipment, to attract investments, including from the EU, for implementing the Priority Investment Program stipulated in the feasibility study “Water supply and wastewater treatment in Chisinau municipality program”. The company also aims to finish the designing and start building the 110-6 kV transformer station and the Nistru water collection station. There will be launched a pilot-project to design a hydroelectric plant for producing green energy and a pilot-project to use in agriculture the dried mud from the Chisinau wastewater treatment station. Facilities of the water supply and sewerage systems will be constructed, rehabilitated and repaired according to the business plan for 2013.
