Members and sympathizers of the Party of Socialists today protested in front of the Parliament Building where a sitting is taking place. They expressed their dissatisfaction with the rise in prices and the illegalities witnessed in the country, demanding to stop the increase in prices and to raise salaries and pensions, IPN reports.

MP Vasile Bolea said the Party of Action and Solidarity and Maia Sandu came to power by lying. “They said that 4 lei for gas is too much, but today we have a price of over 18 lei per cubic meter of gas. This government cheated almost all the citizens of the Republic of Moldova, including those who are abroad, promising that they can return home without paying taxes. But they were deceived too,” stated the MP.

Chisinau councilor Victor Polyakov accused the government of generating debts and price rises, saying the citizens have large debts. “We came together here not because we have good times, but because the current government takes the country towards a collapse with each taken step. Our daily life becomes unbearable. This parliamentary majority brought poverty. This government brought only rises in the prices of gas, fuels. The prices increase each day. Down with the genocide?” he said.

“Dear people, is this the change we wanted? Good times came only for PAS, which names relatives to posts,” said councilor Silvia Grigorieva, noting the people every time vote with hope for a better life, but those who promised the change forget to tell what kind of change they intended to bring about.
