“The Socialist Party will play an important role in Moldova’s history, maybe the most important role played by any party in developing our country”, declared president Igor Dodon, who was the party’s formal leader before assuming office. Congratulating the party’s 21st anniversary, Dodon wrote in a FB post that the Socialists have an obligation to win the next parliamentary elections.
According to Igor Dodon, these 21 years have had ups and downs; it’s been a long road, but now the Socialists are the political party that is the most trusted by the people. “Soon, our country will go through parliamentary elections. The Socialist Party is simply obligated to win these elections in order to give the Republic of Moldova another chance, and I’m confident that this is what will happen. The Socialist Party has no alternative but to take power and put an end to the chaos that has engulfed the entire country for too long”, declared Igor Dodon.
The president added that he thinks the Socialists are able to effectively govern Moldova and ensure the high living standards that the people deserve.
