The Socialist MPs will submit a simple motion against Minister of Defense Anatolie Salaru at the beginning of the June 2 sitting of Parliament. These accuse the minister of diminishing the country’s defense capacity and of destroying the National Army by selling anti-aircraft missile complexes, IPN reports.
Socialist MP Grigore Novac told a news conference that a number of anti-aircraft missile complexes were transported from Danceni and Bacioi to the Marculesti airport for being sold during the last two months. Most probably these systems will become the property of illegal groups.
According to the Socialists, owing to the sale of these missile complexes, Moldova’s airspace remained unprotected. In the news conference, the MPs presented a number of videos that, according to them, show how military machinery is being transported from Danceni and Bacioi. These noted that the videos represent evidence and the law enforcement bodies should examine these cases.
Grigore Novac said all the ministers of defense who represented the Liberal Party pursued the goal of destroying the National Army.
Last week, the Communist parliamentary group announced that they will submit by a simple motion against each minister after they didn’t manage to secure the number of signatures needed for proposing a no-confidence motion against the Filip Government. Only 15 signatures are needed for submitting a simple motion.
