The Chisinau councilors of the Party of Socialists requested the acting mayor of Chisinau Nistor Grozavu to initiate the procedure for dismissing Mihai Molovanu from the post of head of the Health Division, IPN reports.
In a press briefing after the ordinary meeting of officials of Chisinau services and divisions, Socialist councilor Dinari Cojocaru said that since Mihai Moldovanu was named head of the municipal Health Division, a series of criminal cases have been started against former employees of health facilities where repair or construction works were initiated. Even if the court decided in favor of division heads, Mihai Moldovanu refuses to comply with the decisions.
The Socialists also said that they drafted a decision to increase the salaries of medical assistants, persons who wash dishes and underclothing and warehousemen and estimated that a sum of 900,000 lei is needed for the raises.
