The measures and services intended for children with deviant behavior will be regulated by law. Parliament on November 30 gave a final reading to a relevant bill and adopted this. The provisions refer to children who committed contraventions or criminal offenses, but do not face criminal or contravention liability, IPN reports.
The services intended for children with deviant behavior envision the provision of qualified social pedagogical, psychological, informational and any other type of assistance aimed at ensuring positive changes in the behavior.
The measures will include specialized supervision, inclusion in tutelage/guardianship or family type services and in the residential type service. A school group for preventive activities, consisting of the director or vice director of the school, class master, other teachers and the school psychologist, will be created at the education institution attended by the child with deviant behavior.
The legislative initiative takes effect on January 1, 2020.
