Social insurance contribution for patentees will be 4,044 lei

The patent holders in 2010 will pay a social insurance contribution of 4,044 lei. The state social insurance contribution next year will remain 29% - 23% paid by the employee and 6% paid by the employee, Info-Prim Neo reports. The draft state social insurance budget law for 2010 approved by the executive says that the persons working under individual contracts in agriculture will pay a contribution of 22% of the remuneration fund, 6% of which will be paid from the state budget. The farmland owners that cultivate the land themselves can sign a contract with the National Social Insurance House and will pay a fixed tax that will be 996 lei in 2010. The state social insurance contribution for such taxpayers as founders of private companies, lawyers and private notaries will be calculated on the basis of a fixed tax raised yearly in accordance with the rise in the average salary (3,700 lei x 109%). The contribution for patentees will be calculated in the same way and will be 4,044 lei. The state social insurance contribution for civil aviation employees will be calculated by the employer according to a tariff of 33%. The draft state social insurance budget law for 2010 say all the persons working in Moldova must pay state social insurance contributions.
