The State Weather Service has issued a code-amber advisory for December 29 predicting heavy precipitation in the form of snow and melted snow, IPN reports.

Additionally, wind will blow from NE in gusts of up to 15-20 m/s, creating blizzard conditions. Icy roads are also predicted. On December 30-31, temperatures will drop abruptly.

During December 29-31, lows will range from -3 to -13 degrees Celsius, and highs from 0 to -6 degrees.
