Snap mayoral elections will take place in Sălcuța village of Căușeni district on October 16 this year. The Central Election Commission took a decision to this effect following the death of the mayor of this village, IPN reports.
New local elections in Moldova are held two times a year, in autumn and in spring. The snap mayoral elections in Sălcuța are the first elections set for this autumn.
