The Small and Medium-Sized Business Association plans to picket the building of the Parliament at the start of the next year. The Association’s chairman Eugen Roscovan told Info-Prim Neo that they will set up tents in order to picket the Parliament round the clock.
The Association is ready to stage firmer protests than the previous ones. A broad protest is set to take place on December 24 in Balti and in a number of district centres simultaneously, the cited source said.
At a roundtable meeting of representatives of the Association and of the Moldova Noastra Alliance Party, Eugen Roscovan said that the small and medium-sized entrepreneurs are bitterly disappointed in the present administration of the country and they consider that the Opposition can be their only political support.
As the authorities ignore the fair protests organised until present, we will be forced to stage radical protests, Roscovan said. The meeting participants stressed the necessity of mobilising “all those that have been insulted by the Communist power” in a joint protest and of extending the political requests so that they include the resignation of the Government, the dissolution of the present Parliament and the giving of a vote of no confidence to President Vladimir Voronin.
