A new recreation place will be put up in “Valea Trandafirilor” Park in Botanica district of the capital city. A hundred-meter-long sloping walkway is being built on the edge of a lake in the recreational area. The construction site was inspected by officials of the Chisinau City Hall and the General Housing and Amenities Division, who went to see how the works on the future pathway are progressing.
Contacted by IPN for details, the head of the Division’s Planning and Environment Unit Vasile Efros could not say when the pathway will be ready, but noted that the works are at the stage of fixing the metal elements, after which a kind of plasticized wood, resistant to atmospheric conditions, will be installed. The construction will have a length of 100 meters and will become a recreational area, where park visitors will be able to sit and admire the lake landscape.
The works are carried out within a large project to rehabilitate “Valea Trandafirilor” Park in Chisinau. The building of the pathway and laying out of the adjoining area will cost over 1 million lei.
