The number of unemployed who visit the Employment Center in Slobozia, Transnistrian region, is rising relative to last year’s same period. According to the news portal news.es-pmr.com, in the first half of the year 14% more have sought for a job than last year’s same period.
Angelika Markevitch, chief specialist on labor markets and development of labor programs of the Regional Analysis Center, mentioned that around 1,300 people submitted applications for a job, and over 700 were registered as unemployed.
