The Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Special Cases completed the investigation and sent to court the case started against six men over illegal gathering of information about the personal life of a judge from Chisinau, IPN reports.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the information about the private and professional life of the judge was collected without the consent of this, by using special technologies intended for secretly obtaining information.
The six men are aged between 24 and 40. One of them was earlier convicted and served time in jail for another offense. All the six persons were obliged not to leave the country.
The violation of the inviolability of the personal life carries a fine of at most 37,500 lei or up to 240 hours of community service.
