Six persons were arrested for a series of very serious crimes committed ten years ago. Among the crimes is the murder in 2006 of a man from Orhei town, whose body hasn’t been yet found, IPN reports.
These arrested are also suspected of kidnapping in 2008 three inhabitants of Lucaseuca village of Orhei district, who were beaten and robbed.
Prosecutors said the investigations into these cases were hushed up. In one case, it was ordered not to institute legal proceedings. Recently, acting prosecutor general Eduard Harunjen annulled these ordinances and ordered to take legal action and prosecute all those to blame.
The six persons were charged and placed under arrest for 30 days. These are aged between 20 and 40 and are residents of Orhei district.
