The Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection reported six new cases of infection with the novel coronavirus, two of which are cases of imported infection. The total number of infections with COVID-19 in Moldova thus increased to 29, IPN reports.
Minister of Health Viorica Dumbrăveanu told a news conference that the condition of the woman who was transferred today to the National Clinical Hostel is critical. Her husband also got the virus.
A person infected with the novel coronavirus was cured. Two samples taken from this tested negative and the person is to be discharged tomorrow.
According to the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control, 151,000 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally by March 15. The death toll rose to 5,758.
