Six persons have filed applications to take part in the contest to fill the post of director of the National Anticorruption Center (NAC) by the November 29 deadline, IPN has learned from the Parliament’s press service.
The six candidates are: Veaceslav Gutan –lecturer at the Police Academy “Stefan cel Mare”; Bogdan Zumbreanu – head of the NAC General Prosecution Division; Igor Karlashuk – head of the NAC General Operational Division; Andrian Moroi – jurist of SRL “Careul Prim”; Valentin Dogotari – ex-employee of the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure who designed the project “Moldova’s Investment Map”, and Sava Maimescu – lecturer at the Public Law Department of the State University.
Under the regulations, the Parliament’s legal commission for appointments and immunities will examine candidates’ files and will take a decision as to their admission to the contest. Applications could be submitted between October 19 and November 29, 2017.
