Following amendments made to the legislation, the state social welfare provided by the National House of Social Insurance will be paid through the payment service providers designated by the recipients. So far the House has signed contracts for the provision of such services with six banks, IPN reports.
In a communique, the National House of Social Insurance says that besides Moldova’s Post Office and Bаncа de Economii, contracts were also signed with Moldova-Agroindbank, Moldindconbank, Victoriabank, FinComBank, Eximbank, and Energbank.
About 4,000 recipients have so far filed applications to collect their pensions or other types of benefits from these banks.
Through the selected payment service providers, the recipients can now get only the pensions, state social allowances and state financial support. The other types of benefits will be received through card when the necessary amendments to the regulations concerning the payment of welfare are approved by the Government.
