The Security and Intelligence Service (SIS) asked to also block the portals www.sputnik.md and www.gagauznews.md. The SIS director signed an order to this effect, saying that these websites disseminate information that incites hatred and war during the state of emergency, IPN reports.
“The order that contains binding instructions was transmitted to the national registrar of the superior level domain “md” and to electronic communications networks and/or services providers so as to immediately block the access of users from the Republic of Moldova to the mentioned sources in accordance with the law,” runs a press release of SIS.
Earlier, SIS requested to block the website www.vkurse.md that disseminates information inciting hatred and war. The portal distributes in Moldova information based on reports broadcast by foreign news agency that justify the military aggression against the legally elected authorities of Ukraine.
SIS reiterated its call to the general public to inform themselves from official sources and from sources that actively verify the published information and to refrain from distributing information from dubious sources and messages that incite hatred and/or violence.
