Starting next year, the procedure for entering a foreign car in the separatist region of Transnistria will be simplified, IPN learned from the regional press.
Customs formalities will be shortened. Natural persons won’t have to fill in customs forms if they have papers proving that they will use the car strictly for personal purposes and they will later register it in the system.
The evaluation of the car’s value has been canceled. Moreover, customs forms and permissions won’t be necessary to deliver the vehicle for repairs, technical maintenance or safekeeping, or to a close relative for personal use.
