Silvia Goncear wins Grand Prix at “Silver Chrysanthemum” Song Festival

Singer Silvia Goncear is the winner of the Grand Prix offered at the 15th edition of “Silver Chrysanthemum” Song Festival, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Director of the Festival Leonid Gorceac, the first place at the creation contest was not offered. Second came composer Daria Radu for “My Romance” and composer Constantin Barancovschi for “Another Stat Fell…”, lyrics by Galina Furdui. Third place was offered to Constantin Bardan, Iasi, for the romance song “Today I’ll Write a Letter to Life …” and Gheorghe Cretu, of Chisinau, for the song “It’s Late Already…” Stefania Loredana Chitulescu, Romania, and Natalia Tanasiiciuc, Balti, presented the best performances. The second place was shared by Oana Serban, Romania, and Ludmila Snamenschi, Chisinau. The winners of the third place are Ludmila Rosculet, Chisinau and Ilie Tiple from Slatina, Transcarpatia. Director of the “Golden Chrysanthemum” Festival in Targoviste Lucian Codreanu offered the special prize of “Golden Chrysanthemum” Foundation to Viorica Stancu, Bucharest. Rica Ungureanu, the chairman of the foundation offered to Petru Bulai from Stefan Voda the special prize of the City Hall of Targoviste for fidelity to the genre, as well as special awards to Petru Neamtu, art director and first conductor of “Folclor Orchestra of the National Philharmonics and to Ion Dascal, art director and first conductor of “Mugurel” Orchestra. The special award of Dambovita District Council was offered to “Folclor” Orchestra and the Special Award was won by singer Ion Carasciuc.
