Silver coins and ingots were discovered in the baggage of a passenger at the Chisinau International Airport. According to the Customs Service, the passenger of the Chisinau - Vienna – Rome flight chose the green “Nothing to Declare” corridor, IPN reports.
As a result of a check, 177 silver coins and nine silver ingots that weren’t declared to the customs authority were found in the passenger’s baggage.
The passenger is a citizen of the U.S. aged 35.
The silver coins and ingots were seized and can be confiscated based on a court decision. The person faces a fine.
